The Ground Round - Neenah is currently seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the position of Kitchen Supervisor.
The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager with the activities of the cooks, dishwashers and expediters in accordance with specifications and procedures.  Schedules, training and assisting in hiring back of house hourly team members.  Provide performance feedback.  Responsible for execution of the food provided to guests, sanitation and up keep of the restaurant.

Requirements

  •  Assist in the daily operation of the unit.  Supervise all areas of the back of house to ensure quality food, controlling labor and other controllable costs, safety, security, sanitation and maintenance of equipment.  Supports the Kitchen Manager when working a shift with ordering, receiving, storage, production, rotation, labeling, and organization of kitchen products.  Supports with recipe adherence, cook time and proper specifications.
  • Ensures adherence to all Ground Round food sanitation, quality assurance, maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, safety and all other company policies, procedures and standards.  
  • Ensures training/certification using current workbooks and manages the performance of all training team members.  Provides performance feedback, coaching and assists with formal performance reviews yearly.  Helps to develop cook trainers and assists with meetings for cooks.
  • Assists with cook schedules in accordance with budgeted labor and master schedules.
  • Assist with supervising and managing kitchen labor/productivity during all meal periods, including end of shifts.
  • Help to improve FOH and BOH team work and communications. 
  •  Assist with ordering and inventory of food and kitchen products.
