Job Description
The Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel is seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the position of Hotel Pool Attendant.
This would be a part-time, seasonal position.

Requirements
Position Overview:
The Pool Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for our guests at our facility. This position involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety regulations, and providing exceptional guest service to enhance the overall guest experience.
The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area and surrounding amenities. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with guests to address their needs and concerns promptly
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the pool area for cleanliness, safety, and guest behavior, ensuring all hotel policies are followed, including verifying wristbands for access.

Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner, ensuring they have everything needed for an enjoyable pool experience.

Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about pool rules and amenities.

Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including the pool deck furniture, LaSalle Room, and arcade area; restock towels; pick up trash; collect used towels; and clear debris.

Provide assist in the setup and breakdown of poolside events and activities.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a guest service role preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Must be reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.

CPR or basic first aid certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Comfortable working in warm conditions
Schedule and Compensation:

This position is part-time and seasonal, with flexible hours based on pool operational needs.

Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
